This new edition is a tribute to the impact Faye’s words have had over the past decade, and we’re delighted to offer something extra special for both new readers and long-time fans.
This edition includes two new essays, “Lifeguard” and “Winter,” in which Faye continues to explore the complexities of life with her characteristic insight and grace. We’re also honored to feature a foreword by Joan Schweighardt, an award-winning novelist, memoirist, and children’s book author who brings her own thoughtful perspective (and a brief history lesson on the author) to Faye’s work. Joan is the acclaimed novelist behind the well-received Rivers Trilogy.
