On March 15, 2025, a series of devastating tornadoes tore through the southeastern United States, leaving destruction in their wake. Entire neighborhoods were leveled, families lost everything in an instant, and the death toll continues to climb. Alabama, Mississippi, and surrounding states have been hit hard, with communities facing months—if not years—of rebuilding.

At Huntsville Independent Press, we can’t stand by while our neighbors suffer. From now until the end of May, 15% of all author purchases will go directly toward relief efforts for tornado victims. This funding will help provide emergency shelter, meals, and critical supplies to those left with nothing.
If you want to do more, we encourage you to support the organizations working tirelessly on the ground:
The American Red Cross – Providing emergency shelters, food, and medical assistance to displaced families.
Y’all Squad – A grassroots disaster response team delivering direct aid to hard-hit areas, ensuring resources reach those who need them most.
Convoy of Hope – Distributing food, water, and essential supplies to survivors across the hardest-hit regions.
Rebuilding after a disaster like this is a long and painful process, but no one has to face it alone. Whether you’re publishing your book through HIP or donating to a relief organization, every effort makes an impact.
If you have questions or want to learn more, reach out to us. Now is the time to come together—because when our communities hurt, we all feel it. Let’s help them heal.
Thank you,
HIP Leadership
